The Dyson DC17 Post HEPA filter goes to the side of the vacuum and fits the Dyson Absolute Animal DC17 vacuums. This Dyson DC17 HEPA filter traps more of the dust, dander, and other particulates that can escape from standard filters. Please note that this is NOT the DC17 Washable HEPA filter which goes below the dust bin. This HEPA filter is located at the lower half of the vacuum cleaner just to the side of the dust bin. approx. 5 7/16 inches diameter, 1 5/8 inches thick. The filter replaces Dyson part number 911235-01.
