they are stainless steel
Review by guestPrice Value Quality I used my old floormate so much the original squeegie tore off and the vacuum obediently ate it's own rubber strip. This blue one didn't match my otherwise grey housing but it does dry the floor a lot better with it than without it. It was a few minutes to install (use the original 3 screws - they are stainless steel) and the machine is like new again.
