The high-performance 924-watt, 10-amp dual motor system maintains power to both the brush roller and the suction motor to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. The brush roller is made of wood with nylon bristles. Low to medium pile carpet and hard surfaces can be vacuumed with the ProForce. It has a dual motor system that allows for vacuuming without the brush roll on hard surfaces to prevent scratching. The ProForce vacuum has 2 motors; one for the main vacuum and one motor for the brush roll. Please note the on/off switch has 3 available positions. I = Vacuum Motor, O = Off, II = Brush roll and main vacuum motor on. It is possible to have the vacuum on without the brush roll for vacuuming easily scratched flooring.
