Works with 1 1/4 inch hoses and wands. This attachment works the same way as Eureka PowerPaw Tool 62550A. The Eureka mini turbo Power Paw and this tool has the same kind of bristles to pull the pet hair out of upholstery, carpet, stairs etc.

Worth Every Cent!
Review by KatherinePrice Value Quality I bought this for my Eureka Air Excel Compact canister vacuum when my generic hand-held vacuum went kaput after sucking up a long, loose carpet strand and nearly shooting fire. I have a housecleaning business, so I wanted to bring something along that was lightweight and small enough that I could just fit onto the end of my existing vacuum. This thing is amazingly powerful! The silicone "teeth" snap off if you wish to use the beater bar alone, and this thing just zips across furniture and stairs in seconds. Very pleased! My only complaint is that it wasn't turquoise as shown in the picture. (My fave color.) :-D It's only black and lime green--which ironically matches my Eureka. Very well-built. You can't go wrong. Not sure why only 4 stars on the price. It's competitively priced plus no shipping--can't beat that!
