Good service - belts don't fit my vacuum

My problem is, although the description said these belts fit "all Oreck uprights", they don't fit my Oreck Classic XL upright vacuum (Sorry, I couldn't find the model number). The width is fine, they are way too short to fit over the pulleys. I didn't bother to return them because it's just not worth the effort.
