Review by guestPrice Value Quality This was exactly what we needed. Our Dyson had started making awful noises and just wasn't picking up the pet hair (we have the animal model) anymore. Once we replaced the roller brush it started working just like when it was brand new. I will admit my husband did the actual replacement - so I'm not sure how difficult it was. Replacement took him less than five minutes.

Review by guestPrice Value Quality "The Dyson Folks will not sell you one of these items. It seems that they assume that the consumer is simply to stupid to install it. Buy a brush roller from EZ Vacuum.
Using two (2) smooth shank #2 phillips screw drivers inserted under the belt raise the belt high enough to remove the old brush roller and insert the new brush roller purchased from EZ Vacuum.(You may need a helper with strong hands) Re-assemble the floor plate and your vacuum is back to work."
