Works, but...
Review by CraigPrice Value Quality It's a bit pricey at over $1/foot but it appears to be good quality. My only gripe on the quality is that the 1/4" connectors on the internal end didn't fit tightly on the tabs on the reel so I had to use pliers to close them up slightly.
I was able to get it to work but it is a bit stiffer than the original cord so I had to wind the coil spring tighter to get it to retract automatically.
In the end, it was a lot cheaper than buying a $115 replacement for the whole cord reel but I'm not entirely sure it was the better way to go.
