I bought this roller to replace a worn out one with a frozen bearing on the end. What a difference. It works as good as new now. My vacuum is a Yellow Eureka Big Boss Bagless Widetrack.

Eureka Boss 4463AV

I was a little nervous about the product not being OEM (Eureka brand), but it fit right into the machine like the original. The price was the best online. And the shipping? It was just as all the reviews say-FAST (within 3 days of placing my order.)

I bought my Eureka Model 5857 from Costco about ten years ago. It worked so well that I bought one for my girlfriend too. Of course hers gets more use. Instead of throwing them away when something goes wrong, I get to fix them. Luckily, I`ve been able to buy the parts needed right here on line. This time hers needed a new roller brush. I couldn`t believe how worn out the wooden roller was. Installing the new one took me seconds and just like that she has a perfect working vacuum again. We`ve looked at new vacuums in stores but none are built like our Eureka`s.

So far all is well. Replaced my roller cause I spent $120 for this vacuum less than 2 years ago. It a good little eureka. The end caps on the roller had gotten so hot that the glue melted. These end caps are the bearings for the roller. This simple $20 part along with 5 minutes and a new belt fixed up my vacuum in no time. Now I have to train my spouse to use the correct height for our carpet.....
