About Envirocare Technologies

EnviroCare was established by Greg Seck, an executive with almost 25 years experience solely in the disposable vacuum bag venue already in his pocket. Greg started in the late '70‘s with Studley Paper Company, where he rose to the rank of Executive Vice President, then left in 1995 to join the now defunct Home Care Industries, Inc. as its VP of Sales. When Home Care was sold to a private equity firm in 2000, Greg felt it necessary to re-evaluate his position and left the firm in 2001. He started EnviroCare shortly thereafter.

EnviroCare, similar to most independent vac shops. is a wholly U.S. owned family»run enterprise based in Long Island, NY. Also similar to most shops, the family is heavily involved in all aspects of the business. Lynda Seck is responsible for the back end of the business, taking care of all accounting and payroll functions, She is an industry veteran, having worked at Royal Appliance during the time when the Dirt Devil brand was brought to fruition, and experienced that company’s explosive growth.

Dan Seck started in the business early on, working part time during the company’s infancy while attending college at night. Upon graduation in 2005, he came into the business on a full time basis. He takes care of the front end of the business, in sales and in new product development.

Brian Seck. who graduated college in 2010, has a dual role, working in the office and in the warehouse when help is needed.

Rich Seck is using his graphic design degree to develop the new packaging designs recently introduced to the trade, as well as the company’s new Allergen logo and
current trade advertising. He is also working on the Facebook page, and other social network avenues, keeping things fresh and updated.

Rob and Luke Seck spend their summer breaks home from college working in the warehouse. assisting the regular full time employees.

Gary Collins. the Marketing Manager, joined the company 10 years ago, and brought with him a wealth of experience within the Floor Care arena. His efforts in
support of the independent vacuum dealer led to many of the promotional programs initiated by EnviroCare and he is a recent VDTA Hall of Fame Inductee.

The vision of EnviroCare remains true to its founding principles: To supply a quality line of products to the market through its network of distributors throughout
the United States and Canada, and to create value for the dealers who carry the brand. The product line has expanded to 400 different items, all inventoried in the
Bohemia, NY warehouse.

Several years ago, with a void left in the marketplace due to the collapse of Greg‘s former employer, the decision was made to stay the course, and focus solely on distributor/dealer business, rather than get involved with the huge opportunity offered by big box retail.

EnviroCare ramped up its production facilities and warehouse personnel in order to quickly satisfy the dealer demands. Significant investments were made in infrastructure to make sure all orders were shipped in a timely manner.

EnviroCare, with the help of its distributors, has pioneered many product innovations to the industry. The closure collar, which prevents the puff—back of dust
when removing and disposing of the bag, has always been part of the EnviroCare product line.

Additionally, EnviroCare was the first to bring 9 pack Microfiitration bags. now an industry staple, to market, as well as a full line of filters and synthetic allergen bags.

Greg's extensive knowledge of disposable vacuum bag manufacturing ensured a high quality product line from the outset. His insistence on high blend polyester papers, which have better strength and filtration capabilities, as well as a demand for fine fiber melt-blown polypropylene micro liner ensured a high quality product. An extensive testing laboratory, measuring all incoming raw material, confirms the quality of goods prior to manufacture. A Statistical Process Control regimen is implemented on all production lines, maintaining excellence in craftsmanship.

EnviroCare is the only full line manufacturer and supplier to the industry, the full breadth of which encompasses MicroFiItration bags, standard, or single wall bags, Allergen/HEPA synthetic bags and a broad array of filters for all make and model vacuum cleaners.
