How to clean and replace Dyson V6 Filters


It is recommended that the V6 filters be washed every month with cold water. The filter should be replaced every 3 months as the dirt and debris gets trapped in the filter pores and thus effecting the filtration and suction. Please follow the steps below

1. Unhook the power cord from the vacuum port
2. Remove the V6 from the charging port.
3. Lift the pre filter out from the top of the turbine.
4. Rinse the filter under running cold water. Gently rub the filter from the outside to dislodge any dust, dirt debris. Do not use any sharp edge device like a knife or scrubber. Inspect the filter at this stage. If the filter appears to be discolored due the impregnated dust particles and appears hard to clean, replace it with the new filter you just bought at EZvacuum.com
5. Gently squeeze the filter to remove as much water you can.
6. Dry it on a clean surface for at least 24 hours.Make sure the filter is absolutely dry before you put it back in the machine.
7. Replace the filter.
