I need a belt with a diameter of 4" not 3.5". I have an old model U4110001 upright Hoover.

All new belts need to be stretched over the roller. The old belts stretch out due to heat and friction. The tighter the belt, the better the suction is. Just stretch the belts over the roller and it will work for sure.
