Inside the nozzle, an agitator generates positive brush action for more effective cleaning, and the fingertip switch shuts off the agitator for safer cleaning on bare-floor surfaces. The unit's stretch hose connects to the canister using a 360-degree swivel connector, which permits a wide range of cleaning without moving the canister, plus reduces canister tip-over.
