The Plastiflex hose is the standard electric hose that will work with any central vacuum outlet. The 30 foot hose is made out of durable Plastiflex hose so that you can not crush or pinch the hose. This hose comes with the pig tailed end that requires a power outlet near the vac inlet so that you can use an electric power head. A: Please check the image of the handle which shows the connection underneath the metal tube for connection to the wand which goes into the powerhead.

Q: Is the hose and gas pump handle compatible with a Beam Butler Model BM1197B central vacuum unit.
A: Yes. It works for BM1197 Type B. Please note that this is the one with pigtail cord.
