I have also needed replacements for the XSH88, and I was able to obtain them years ago. Recently, however, they seem to have gone the way of the dinosaurs. Even though the filter above looks similar, the difference seems to come down to the shape of the base (e.g., with or without a lip, etc), and whether it will properly fit into the vacuum. Without buying it to test out, I don't know what else to suggest. When I use up the last of my filters, I'm planning to buy a new vacuum....
