Yes. It will fit. Just raise the rear flap and insert the hose end. The vacuum should be on standing/resting posture so that suction goes thru the hose.

Will this fit a Riccar moon 6?

This actually fits on to the backport of the upright vacuums. We have seen some riccar canister customers ordering it too. But I guess you will have to buy an adapter for that too. Can you measure the opening outside and inside diameter and I can check which adapter you will need?
