This is the elbow where the wands plugs into. Assembly includes lamp holder and wiring

THE LOCKING PIECE IS ON THE WAND NOT THE NECK PLUG. THE NECK DOES NOT HAVE A LOCKING RING AS THE WAND LOCKS RIGHT. REPLACE ORIGINAL LUX PART # 46860, 62224, Lux-62224

A: It should fit a Lux 5000, just like the one I'm trying to fix. The model number is on the inside of the bag chamber door. The one I have is model number C141E. The number on yours should be similar and listed on the compatible models list. HTH
