Kenmore 5062, 50341 Micro-Lined Bags- 9 Pack

I ordered Sears vac bags 20-50341. This is the bag listed in the parts list for Sears vac #175.3485180
The illustration in the original manual for the vacuum shows a short sleeve on the dust bag connecting to the vacuum discharge near the upper part of the vacuum handle.
The vac bags I received have a long sleeve and per the illustration on the bags, are expected to be attached to a vacuum discharge near the bottom of the vacuum handle.
The vacuum discharge is not at the bottom, it's up near the top.
If I install the vac bags upside down, I can connect the vac bags, but the vacuum discharge when it travels down the long sleeve, has a somewhat restricted entry into the bag where the sleeve makes a turn into the bag. The illustration on the dust bags shows a vacuum with the vac discharge at the bottom of the vacuum, and that's not where it is on the vacuum.
I could provide copies of the illustrations from the vacuum manual. Also could provide a copy of the parts list that shows the vac bags are part # 20-50341
I also have an original vac bag I had bought from Sears with that part number and it has the short sleeve with the connection into the upper vac discharge.
So, bottom line, your vac bags are not compatible with my vacuum, even tho they list the correct part number..

I could not get these bags from the Sears store (for a Kenmore vacuum), but I could get them from their website. I checked further and found that EZvacuum had the correct bag in a larger quantity at a much better price. I ordered them and they arrived shockingly fast. Email updates were excellent.
