Kenmore Vacuum Handle Release Pedal KC47ADWFZV07

The handle on my Kenmore vacuum cleaner is supposed to remain in the upright position, unless you press the pedal. This allows you to tilt the vacuum back and raise the lower part over things like carpet edges. Mine would snap out of that position without pushing the pedal. This part fixed it. There are about 8 screws or so to remove from underneath, then turn it back upright and lift off the cover. A few more screws, switch out the bad part for the new one, and good as new.
