Sweeper filters
Review by nelliePrice Value Quality I found the filters to be just like the one that came in my sweeper. The one that came with my sweeper said you could wash them but I found that when I washed it .it become softer and didn't do the job as well. I have not tried to wash my new ones. I found that if I take a brush I can clean them a lot better and they last longer.

Genuine? Maybe.
This is a well made filter and fit my vacuum just fine and works the same as the original filter that came with my store-bought vacuum cleaner. I have no complaints of any kind.
That said, I do find this filter to be somewhat lower specs than my original filter. The plastic and paper parts are "thinner" and more "light weight". As an example: when I "twist" this filter to connect it into my vacuum, I notice it "flexes" somewhat as I snap it in. The first few times I thought I would break it, but did not. When I feel the paper part, it feels lighter weight and thinner. When I hold the old and new filters, the old one is heavier and I see less light thru it than the new one. The new filter has gone thru 6 washings and has help up well. To me it works as well as the old one.
My old filter is 4 years old and has been washed approx. 150 times! It is still working, although the paper part is stained gray . (It is very dusty here in Arizona)
I bought this new filter so one could be in use while the other is drying after use.
I would buy this filter again because it works well, fits good, was delivered quickly and in perfect condition. I doubt it will last 4 years like the original, but then I may not either.
