works like new
Review by GuestPrice Value Quality I ordered this motor as a replacement for one in a 20-year old Oreck Model XL9100C vacuum cleaner. This new motor appeared physically different than the old motor but it did properly fit into its allotted space. Also, the electrical motor wiring was significantly different from the old one. A wiring diagram was furnished with the new motor and it showed 4 different wiring configurations… none of which matched my vacuum cleaner. Having some electrical experience, I was able to determine how to wire-up the motor with the foot switch and lights. Wire and lugs were furnished with the motor but I had to buy 2 more lugs to complete the installation. The vacuum, with its new motor, now works like new.
