I was surprised at how easy it was to replace.
Review by guestPrice Value Quality The part installed and worked perfectly and I was surprised at how easy it was to replace. Keep good track of the screws as you take off the cover so you know where they went (Good You Tube videos on line that show it nicely). Also, measure the end of the control cable that goes past the body of the part when installed (usually 1/4 inch). If you do that, and reinstall the cable to that position, it will operate forward and backward perfectly. Now, I know not to pull the vacuum up the stairs by the handle.
