Old motor burned out. I loosened two screws and the motor with fan assembly came right out. Why do I need the motor mount kit w/new motor?

The mounting rubber/foam is recommended to changed everytime the motor is changed. This will make sure that the motor sits properly and snuggly in the house and does not wobble or vibrate.
