I just got this attachment and the OUTSIDE diameter is NOT 1.25", it is just over 1 5/8" and just shy of 1 3/8". Either this attachment has been modified since 6/29/2018 or the person who provided the answer doesn't know how to measure. Either way, I am now going to have to send this thing back as it doesn't fit.

An update to my post from a minute ago: the return policy makes it cost prohibitive to return this item, so I am now stuck with it. They will deduct the original shipping & processing costs and I would have to pay shipping + insurance to send this back. Will probably cost more than the original purchase. Pretty crappy policy and not customer oriented. I would not have ordered this item if customer support from this company did not provide incorrect information on the sizing. I will not do business with EZvacuum, again.

The outer diameter of this tool is 1 1/4"
